Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-30
This policy explains what personal data Yizik collects, why we collect it and how you stay in control of it. Yizik is a language learning platform. IELTS preparation is our first course, so everything here applies across the whole platform, not just one course.
What we collect
We collect the information needed to run your account and your learning: your name, email address and your progress data such as answers, scores and session activity. If you pay for a plan, we also collect the Kaspi phone number you used, purely to match your payment to your order. We never collect or store your card details, since all payments go through Kaspi directly.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep you logged in and remember your language and theme. These are always on since the site needs them to work. Optional analytics cookies help us understand how the platform is used and only load once you accept them in the cookie banner. Rejecting them still gives you the full platform, just without analytics.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on servers located in Kazakhstan. We do not use third party trackers or advertising networks. Our own analytics run on servers we control rather than a third party's.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, it is deactivated immediately and permanently removed after 30 days. Records tied to a completed payment or a support ticket may be kept longer where needed for accounting or legal reasons.
Your rights
You can review and update your name and language from Settings at any time. To request a copy of your data or to delete your account, use Settings or open a support ticket and we will act on it.
Who can see your information
Your learning data is visible only to you and to our administrators, who use it to support your account and improve the platform. Your Kaspi phone number is masked everywhere except the internal payments queue our administrators use to verify a payment.
Children
Yizik is intended for learners aged 13 and older. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information without a parent's consent, please contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform grows. Significant changes will be announced on the site. The date at the top of this page always shows when it was last updated.
